Our Lady of Beauraing: The Golden Heart

Five children from two different families witnessed the apparitions of Our Lady in a pear tree in the garden of the convent of the Sisters of Our Lady of Beauraing. Mary appeared dressed in white, with a golden crown and radiating light. In the final apparition, she presented her Golden Heart and said: “Let sinners convert.”

Aprovação e Devoção

The Bishop of Namur approved the apparitions in 1949. The sanctuary of Beauraing annually receives hundreds of thousands of pilgrims. The message of Beauraing emphasizes the conversion of sinners and devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, a theme that is also central in the history of Fátima.
